The Carat is a term that is used as a trading standard. It is divided into 100 points which 1 Carat is as equal as 0.200 grams. It is become a well-known standard when the United States adopt this system in 1913 and fellow by other countries later. This factor is a significant factor in select or buying diamond or diamond ring. However, the price of each diamond in the same weight will not be the same price. It is also depend on other factors; colour, cut and clarity.
